Summertime Sweet Treats

My cousin graduated from high school, last night!  He graduated from my alma mater, Valley Christian High School.  It was a wonderful evening filled with thanks, and the promise of an amazing future that God has in-store for these amazing young graduates.  After the ceremony we cousin went to get some dessert.  My cousin suggested  Snow Station in Westminster.  This was an excellent choice; it was so good!

Snow Station serves up the fluffiest lightest shaved ice, that is like snow, in all different flavors.  To go along with the snow they offer a variety of toppings, along with different syrups.  Instead of getting individual sized cups, we opted for the pre-designed options.  They come on huge plates, and are enough for 2 to 3 people.  There were 8 of us, and we didn’t finish all the snow we ordered.  We got the Mint Chocolate Chip, “Ice Cream” Sundae, Strawberry Shortcake and a Salted Caramel snow with pound cake and bananas.  The flavors are pretty spot on, and it is so light.  It does not the heavy feeling that comes with eating ice cream.  This location is so tiny, and not good for groups.  We were there around 10:30PM and the place was still packed.  The people working weren’t rude, but they weren’t super friendly.  I think they were just trying to focus on getting people their snow quickly, because it was so crowded.  They have different locations, and there is one closer to my house that I can’t wait to try.  If you are looking for an alternative frozen dessert, I would highly recommend Snow Station.

Now for the eye candy!
