Southern Road Trip 2

My sister and I embarked on a two and a half week road trip, through the South, this summer.  To read part one, click here.  Our first stop was Texas, and we spent about two days in it’s capitol.  Austin is such a fun city, and I wish we had a little bit more time to sightsee and explore.  Our Mom was born in Texas and before we left, she told us how beautiful the capitol building was.  She was right!  The capitol building and grounds are completely stunning.  There are statues that represent Texas Rangers, Volunteer Firemen, and the men who fought in the Confederacy.Audie's Alchemy // Austin Texas Sate CapitolAudie's Alchemy // Austin Texas Sate CapitolAudie's Alchemy // Austin Texas Sate CapitolAudie's Alchemy // Austin Texas Sate CapitolAudie's Alchemy // Austin Texas Sate CapitolAudie's Alchemy // Austin Texas Sate Capitol Audie's Alchemy // Austin Texas Sate CapitolAudie's Alchemy // Austin Texas Sate CapitolAudie's Alchemy // Austin Texas Sate CapitolAudie's Alchemy // Austin Texas Sate CapitolAudie's Alchemy // Austin Texas Sate CapitolAudie's Alchemy // Austin Texas Sate CapitolAudie's Alchemy // Austin Texas Sate CapitolAudie's Alchemy // Austin Texas Sate Capitol Audie's Alchemy // Austin Texas Sate CapitolAudie's Alchemy // Austin Texas Sate CapitolAudie's Alchemy // Austin Texas Sate Capitol   In my next, and last post about Austin, will be all about the Alice in Wonderland exhibit at the Harry Ransom Center.  The Ransom Center is located on the beautiful campus of The University of Texas at Austin.
