After arriving in Texas, our first stop was Austin. We have already checked out the hotel we stayed at, in part 1, and in part 2 we visited the Capitol Building. Our next stop in Austin was the Harry Ransom Center, on the campus of The University of Texas at Austin. We were lucky enough to be there while The Alice and Wonderland exhibit was going on! The exhibit featured the celebration of 150 years of everything Alice in Wonderland. I am a huge fan, and this was one of the many highlights along our Southern Road Trip!

Don’t worry, she is in good company.Illustrator John Tensile did not like the way the illustrations looked in the very first edition, so that edition was pulled and new illustrations were printed. There are slight, but noticeable differences comparing the two. JoAnna and her radiant smile! The Salvador Dali illustrations were probably my favorite part of the exhibit!Beautiful, right!?
That Texas humidity, and my hair are not friends! haha
