Cobh, Ireland

Cobh, Ireland is a sweet harbor town, south of Cork.  Cobh, was the last docking place of the Titanic, before it sailed off to America.  The harbor was also used by many liners to take the Irish to start new lives, elsewhere.  While we were there we walked around the waters edge, and went up to see St. Coleman’s Cathedral. There is a Titanic exhibit available year round, and it just happened to be closed the day we were there.  My sister and I were there just briefly, but it would have made a wonderful day trip.
