Venice

It seems like a lifetime ago, that my sister and I travelled to Italy.  We only had time for a full day, and I wish we could have been there at least 1 more day.  We stayed, at the lovely, Hotel Da Bruno and it was a stones throw away from St. Marks Square.  We also enjoyed a really great meal, at Ai Barbacani.  The older gentleman working, was so kind, and we enjoyed a limoncello, with him, at the end of our meal. It could have been a bit of a touristy place, and it may have changed since we have been there, but nonetheless we had a great meal.  During our day, we were able to hop on over to the colorful island of Burano and wander around the alley ways and canals, of Venice.  If you ever have a day to spare, Venice is an amazing detour.
